Yamaguchi Lab, Saitama University:

This picture was created by a professional illustrator Hiroko UCHIDA, which shows two students (Mr. Yudai Suzuki and Ms. Misato Takahashi) preparing single crystalline ice surfaces by an electric saw and observing etch pits of various faces by a microscope.

This laboratory started in April, 2014. We develop new laser spectroscopy that can be applied to molecular science. Our original spectroscopic methods allow us to see what no one has seen and gain new insight into physical chemistry of interfaces and biomolecules.
