研究紹介 | 化学的な視点から環境問題の解決を目指した研究開発に取り組んでいる。一つは、PM2.5に代表される粒子状汚染物質の屋内外における大気挙動(生成や成長、発生源寄与)に関する研究であり、粒子状汚染物質の粒径別分級捕集手法の開発、大気観測と成分分析、室内チャンバーによる反応モデル実験などを行っている。最近では、直接的な健康影響にも注目が集まっているより微小な粒径100 nm以下の超微小粒子にも対象を広げている。もう一つは、真空紫外線、光触媒、超音波などの反応活性種を効果的に生み出せる要素技術の複合化と反応場の有効利用に関する研究であり、ガス/粒子状汚染物質の高効率分解(空気浄化手法の開発)に加え、バイオ燃料の合成や二酸化炭素の還元(有用化学物質への変換)などに取り組んでいる。 |
